How Can severe Headache Along With Hallucinations Be Treated?
Hi I am 61yr old female who has been experiencing headaches, tremors and hallucinations at night when I cant sleep for about 4 months. At first I thought it was bc of new medication called Cogentin but I stopped medication end of Oct. The headaches are daily now as are tremors but the night time hallucinations are only cpl times a week. I just moved to Tn and do not have a dr yet. What could be causing these symptoms? Should I go to ER since I don t have dr? THANKS MS DEAN YYYY@YYYY

How Can severe Headache Along With Hallucinations Be Treated?
Hello, As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
